Tour Details
- Duration: The entire expedition, from check-in to farewell, spans approximately 1.5hours, with an immersive 45-60 minutes dedicated solely to snorkeling.
- Location: Plunge into the mesmerizing waters of Anini Beach, located on the tranquil North side of Kauai.
- Equipment: From beginners needing flotation assists to experts with their own gear, we cater to every need. Safety is our priority, so full-face snorkel masks are not permitted.
What To Bring
Please bring reef -safe sunscreen, a towel, sunglasses, and waterproof camera if you choose.

- Is snorkeling safe?
In general snorkeling with a guide is very safe. you are provided with Boogie Boards, Noodles, Wetsuits and Snorkel Vests to help ensure everyone doesn’t struggle to stay on the surface. In addition, your guides are always close buy and will keep a watchful eye out for you and your group!
- Do you need to know how to swim?
You do not have to be a gold medalist swimmer, but this should NOT be your first attempt at swimming. You do NOT have to be an experienced snorkeler.
- Are the tours suitable for families with small children and/or seniors?
YES! This tour that can accommodate just about anyone in your group. Guided Shore Snorkels are great opportunities for families to experience the ocean together with children 5 years and up!
- I am pregnant, can I still participate in the snorkeling tour?

The island is home to beautiful reefs that provide a home for some 200 or so indigenous Hawaiian marine species. You will have the opportunity to spot wonderful coral reefs, colorful reef fish, sea turtles, dolphins and on occasion monk seals, rays and in seasons humpback whales! Marine life is wild and we will never be able to guarantee what you see, but we can guarantee a good time!
We maintain a respectful distance form humpback whales and do not swim with the spinner dolphins. For your safety and the safety of the animals, you are not allowed to touch the wildlife we encounter. Turtles are vulnerable to drowning when approached aggressively by humans. But more importantly, we don’t want to be the reason they would change their behavior. This better preserves the natural habitats for the marine life for future snorkelers, like yourself. We will also not feed the fish during our snorkels for the same reason.
Will I see sharks in the water? We typically do not see sharks on our trips as many species prefer deeper waters. If we do happen to encounter any, it will typically be the reef sharks which are quite shy of humans and harmless.

- All snorkelers should be comfortable in open ocean waters. Beginners are welcome.
- Physical Requirements: Moderate physical exertion required. Entry and exit points may be challenging; conditions vary daily. Limited accommodation for those with mobility issues.
- All guests are responsible for their own transportation to and from the meeting location. Exact details provided in confirmation email once you have a reservation.

- No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of activity
- For groups of 6+ there are no refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of activity
- We will gladly reschedule your activity at no extra cost if changes are made prior to the 48 or 72 hour cancellation period
- Cancellations from date of booking to 48 hours before activity or for larger groups 72 hours before activity are subject to a 10% service charge
- If for some reason we are unable to confirm your reservation with the activity operator due to oversold seats or other unforeseen reasons, a full refund will be provided and you will be notified immediately to discuss alternative dates and activities
If a tour operator cancels any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided.
