Canyon Landing Safari Tour

Kauai, known as the “Garden Isle,” is the lushest and oldest of the Hawaiʻian Islands. This green and romantic isle has been the backdrop for countless Hollywood films.

Kauai is the oldest of the main Hawaiian Islands. The island rose from the floor of the Pacific Ocean about 5.1 million years ago. Exposure to the elements over millions of years carved out vast valleys and sculpted ridgelines, making the island topography quite different from that on the youngest island of Hawaii, a.k.a. the Big Island. Some areas of Kauai have countless waterfalls from the abundant annual rainfall, while others are quite dry and desert-like.

Notable regions on Kauaʻi include Mount Waialeale , Waimea Canyon, and the Na Pali Coastline. All their Kauai helicopter flights take you to these locations, as well as other regions on the North Shore and interior of Kauai (weather permitting).

Depart from the helipad at the Lihue Airport and fly along the Hoary Head Mountain range into the Hanapepe Valley to circle the Manawaipuna Waterfall, commonly known as the “Jurassic Park Waterfall.” Soar over the Olokele Canyon and the Waimea Canyon, also known as the “Grand Canyon of the Pacific” where several waterfalls cascade down steep cliffs like the Waialae Falls.

Ascend over to the Kokee State Park and soar into major valleys along the Napali Coastline. View the North Shore, Lumahai Beach, Hanalei Bay, Namolokama Mountain, and stunning waterfalls. Descend into the tropical rainforest of Hanalei Valley and view multitudes of waterfalls, and Mount Waialeale Crater – the wettest spot-on earth with over 450 inches of rain per year. Fly near the Wailua Falls, filmed in Fantasy Island.

Land at a secluded botanical preserve, an approximate 30-minute stop over at the Kauai Wildlife Refuge overlooking Olokele Canyon.
