‘Alihilani Lahaina Sunset Sail
Experience the magic of a Maui sunset sail aboard our spacious catamaran, ‘Alihilani. The name ‘Alihilani means “the place where the horizon meets the sea,” and there’s no better way to take it in than from the water.
Sail through the ‘au‘au Channel with breathtaking views of Maui, Lāna‘i, and Moloka‘i as the sun dips below the horizon. Relax on the forward trampolines or in shaded cabin seating while our crew raises the sails and turns off the motors for a true performance sailing experience.
Your evening includes appetizers and a full open bar with sparkling wine, white wine, local beer, and island-inspired cocktails.
From December through March, this trip doubles as a Maui whale watching sunset sail, offering the unforgettable chance to see humpback whales breaching, tail-slapping, and spouting in their natural habitat.

Details
- For check-in, please arrive 30 minutes before departure at the Greeting Point located at the County Lot (Prison St & Front St).
- The only access in and out of Front Street at this time is Shaw Street.
- Crew will meet you in the parking lot next to the orange Sail Maui A-frame sign to escort you to the harbor loading dock. Please be prepared for a short walk.
- If any of your guests have mobility issues, or you are being transported to the harbor, drop off is available at the Lahaina Harbor loading dock. Please wait there until the remaining guests have been escorted from the parking lot.

- No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of activity
- For groups of 6+ there are no refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of activity
- We will gladly reschedule your activity at no extra cost if changes are made prior to the 48 or 72 hour cancellation period
- Cancellations from date of booking to 48 hours before activity or for larger groups 72 hours before activity are subject to a 10% service charge
- If for some reason we are unable to confirm your reservation with the activity operator due to oversold seats or other unforeseen reasons, a full refund will be provided and you will be notified immediately to discuss alternative dates and activities
If a tour operator cancels any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided.
