Small Group Whalewatch Tour • Ma’alaea
This small group whale watch experience is led by certified Marine Naturalists for fun and informative interpretation of humpback whale behaviors and characteristics.
Watch mothers and calves interact, see males compete for females, hear underwater whale songs – every trip is unique.
**Whale sightings are guaranteed or go again free on another whale watch of equal or lesser value within one year. Pacwhale Eco- Adventures are proud of their 97% sighting success rate.
**Children under 7 are not permitted.

Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store, Maʻalaea Harbor Shops, next to Maui Ocean Center. 300 Maʻalaea road Wailuku, HI 96793
Check-in Time
Please check in 45 minutes prior to departure.
Parking
The Harbor Shops visitor parking lot by Maui Ocean Center, as well as parking at the Maʻalaea boat harbor lots are paid parking. Please read all signage for your parking location and follow its protocol.

- Sunglasses, hat, Towel, a light jacket are recommended.
- Low Soled Shoes (no high heels)
- Reef Safe/Mineral Based Sunscreen (Available in store and onboard!)
- Credit card, vessels are CASHLESS for purchases.

Vessel Safety Tips
- Guests need to use hand railings and step carefully when entering and exiting vessel on gangway
- No standing up on benches or chairs.
- No sitting on hand railings, tables, counters or chair backs
- No children on shoulders.
- Always keep a free hand for a railing or other fixed part of the boat, never carry more than can be taken in one hand.

Policies
- No smoking or vaping of any substance during the tour.
- No use of aerosol sunscreen’s while on the vessel for safety.
Restrictions
- For safety reasons, children must be at least 7 years of age on Ocean Explorer.
Recommendations
- If you are prone to motion sickness, please take precautions prior to your tour.
- Stay hydrated.
- Wear low or flat-soled shoes.

- No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of activity
- For groups of 6+ there are no refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of activity
- We will gladly reschedule your activity at no extra cost if changes are made prior to the 48 or 72 hour cancellation period
- Cancellations from date of booking to 48 hours before activity or for larger groups 72 hours before activity are subject to a 10% service charge
- If for some reason we are unable to confirm your reservation with the activity operator due to oversold seats or other unforeseen reasons, a full refund will be provided and you will be notified immediately to discuss alternative dates and activities
If a tour operator cancels any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided.
