This experience offers the opportunity to interact with naturalists onboard to gain a better understanding about these giants of the sea, as well as how and what data collection researchers are gathering.

Naturalists will provide you with expert commentary about humpback whales and the various behaviors being exhibited by these amazing giants during your tour. Every tour is different and amazing, so come out with us on this unique adventure.

Check-in Location: Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store, Maʻalaea Harbor Shops, next to Maui Ocean Center.

Check-in Time: 45 minutes prior to departure.

Parking: The Harbor Shops visitor parking lot by Maui Ocean Center, as well as parking at the Maʻalaea boat harbor lots are paid parking. Please read all signage for your parking location and follow its protocol.

- Discuss any medical conditions with the crew and if you are under a doctors care or have had cardiac health issues, respiratory health issues, high blood pressure, mobility challenges, consult with a healthcare professional before snorkeling.
- No standing up on benches or chairs on the vessel.
- No sitting on hand railings, tables, counters or chair backs.
- No smoking or vaping of any substance.

- No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of activity
- For groups of 6+ there are no refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of activity
- We will gladly reschedule your activity at no extra cost if changes are made prior to the 48 or 72 hour cancellation period
- Cancellations from date of booking to 48 hours before activity or for larger groups 72 hours before activity are subject to a 10% service charge
- If for some reason we are unable to confirm your reservation with the activity operator due to oversold seats or other unforeseen reasons, a full refund will be provided and you will be notified immediately to discuss alternative dates and activities
If a tour operator cancels any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided.
