This relaxing cruise aboard Maui’s newest luxury sailing catamaran, Ocean Spirit has been extended by 30 minutes to treat guests to more dedicated time with Hawaiʻi’s most famous winter visitor: humpback whales!
It’s the perfect way to experience the essence of hoʻokipa (hospitality), as the crew serves an array of premium appetizers along with refreshing beverages while also learning about these extraordinary migrants. Your passionate and dedicated team will not only serve you amazing food and beverages but will also provide up-to-date education and interesting facts about these incredible animals and how to help them survive and thrive.
If weather conditions permit, the team will drop a underwater microphone to allow guests to hear the humpback whales sing, the perfect addition to your sailing adventure.

Check-in Location: Pacific Whale Foundation Ocean Store, Maʻalaea Harbor Shops, next to Maui Ocean Center. 300 Maʻalaea road Wailuku, HI 96793
Check-in Time: 45 minutes prior to departure.
Parking: The Harbor Shops visitor parking lot by Maui Ocean Center, as well as parking at the Maʻalaea boat harbor lots are paid parking. Please read all signage for your parking location and follow its protocol.

Vessel Safety Tips
- Guests need to use hand railings and step carefully when entering and exiting vessel on gangway.
- No standing up on benches or chairs.
- No sitting on hand railings, tables, counters or chair backs.
- No smoking or vaping of any substance.
- No children on shoulders.
- Always keep a free hand for a railing or other fixed part of the boat, never carry more than can be taken in one hand.
- Stay hydrated.
- Wear low or flat-soled shoes.

You can do so by calling (888) 207-0722 or contact us online.
- No refunds for cancellations within 48 hours of activity
- For groups of 6+ there are no refunds for cancellations within 72 hours of activity
- We will gladly reschedule your activity at no extra cost if changes are made prior to the 48 or 72 hour cancellation period
- Cancellations from date of booking to 48 hours before activity or for larger groups 72 hours before activity are subject to a 10% service charge
- If for some reason we are unable to confirm your reservation with the activity operator due to oversold seats or other unforeseen reasons, a full refund will be provided and you will be notified immediately to discuss alternative dates and activities
If a tour operator cancels any trip due to weather, mechanical failure, unsafe conditions, or insufficient reservations, a full refund will be provided.
