Hiking Shuttle -Moalepe Trail To Kuilau Trail

Ready to hike Moalepe trail and Kuilau trail on the same day? Get on board the friendly shuttle; where your driver will give you tips and recommendations to make your hike more enjoyable and safe.

Hike on your own, with that special someone or make new friends along the trail. Don’t ever see the same thing twice. Get conveniently dropped off on one side of the trail and get picked up on the other; cover twice the trails and half the effort

See Makaleha falls, views of the North, East and South shore along the trail, active and dormant waterfalls. Take a closer look at one of the wettest spots in the world, Mountain Wai ale ale. Finish your hike next to the tranquil and beautiful Keahua stream and relax under the unique rainbow eucalyptus before heading back to your hotel.

  • 7:10 – 7:20am – Pick up in South Kapa’a, outside Island country store 4-484 Kuhio Hwy, HI 96746
  • 7:30 – 7:40am – Pick up in North Kapa’a, outside Paco’s tacos 4-1638 Kuhio Hwy, Kapaa, HI 9746
  • 8:00am – Drop off at Moalepe trail head, Self-guided tour
  • 10:45 – 11:00am – Pickup at Keahua Arboretum parking lot, located outside Kuilau trail head next to the bridge
  • 11:20-11:30am – Drop off South Kapa’a, Island country store
  • 11:40-11:50am – Drop off North Kapa’a, Paco’s tacos

Know Before You Go

Your safety is their first priority. This is a self-guided tour. Please stay on marked trails at all times. Do not go near cliffs or take dangerous pictures near edges, ground can be unstable and can give away at any time. Do not cross streams during flash floods, at high levels, or during storms. Make sure you have enough water and snacks for your journey, have proper gear and clothing, weather can be unpredictable at any time.  Cell phone signal is not available in all trails. Adventurers should be ready to have fun. You will want to dress in layers. You can peel off layers at the rest stops as it warms up on the way down.
